  Visiting from Wales. Visually pleasing, partners didn’t create a warm and welcoming first impression. No connection made at POS and little connection made at end of bar. Watched my soy latte macchiato (quad shot) being made. The milk was steamed correctly with a lovely silky finish; however I could see the barista pouring her espresso into a paper doppio cup instead of her shot glasses, the barista poured the milk into the grande mug, but didn’t follow with the first two shots of espresso, instead she cued the additional shots into the paper cup with the ‘dead’ shots. Not only is this not following beverage routine but is creating unnecessary waste. I’m not sure which I’m more disappointed with, the clear disregard for the environment or the bitter espresso in my latte macchiato
